Detailing Calender System (Status: Back End Coding)

Spawned from my interest, I am creating a system where detailer clients can compile their package and also schedule their next detailing visit.

Nico is an entrepreneur seeking to provide quality detailing services to his local area. We worked closely to deliver a business logo, business card and the website. Word Press was used to allow easy content management and fast deployment. He has since gotten jobs thus the development of the site has become slow.

The task was to create a place where customers can post pictures of their detailed vehicles and create a story board. The final product was accomplished by using 4images system and then customizing the code and customizing the theme to give a minimalist site which gets the point forward.

Crossvine System for UBC UBC Botanical Garden 

As part of a Software Engineering Project, we set about to create a site for UBC Botanical Garden to manage geo referencing. We also set about to create a mobile version for low footprint browsers and iPhone with iWebkit. Source code can be found here. Our SRS document can be found here.

With some that require tag lines or catchy phrases to catch customer attention

Providing clean images for the product lines on the ecommerce system and then watermarking them. Things done to the image below include touch up and image cropping and positioning fixes.

Standardizing User Agreements

There are serious problems with user agreement that prevent users from understanding their rights and responsibilities. User agreements are often inaccessible due to a poor user interface; they are frequently long and time-consuming to read; they are typically written in a style that the average citizen cannot understand; and they are subject to change at any time—with or without notice. As a result, most Canadians are legally bound by contracts that they did not enter into with fully informed consent. To address these problems, we should create one standardized user agreement that is the law of the land across Canada.
